FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS AT ILLINOIS RESOURCE CENTER MOVED TO ONLINE SESSIONS
Due to the current situation, we have closed The Center/IRC office while the Governor's shelter-in-place order is in effect. Our primary concern is the health, safety, and well-being of our staff and constituents. All graduate courses and professional learning have been moved to e-learning. If you are registered for any of our offerings, you will receive correspondence for how to access courses/PD sessions online. We are fully aware of these challenging times and are doing everything imaginable to continue serving all of you. Please continue to access our website for updates or new developments.
Since 1972, the Illinois Resource Center (IRC) has provided assistance to teachers and administrators serving linguistically and culturally diverse students. With support from the Illinois State Board of Education, the IRC has emerged as a major statewide intermediate service agency, and its educational and professional development programs have helped thousands of educators throughout Illinois and the nation to develop effective learning environments for English language learners.
The IRC is an official IL-EMPOWER learning partner as designated by ISBE. Schools interested in contracting with the IRC may review information on IRC's Learning Partner page on the ISBE website, or contact us.
