IAMME Reception & Film Screening Evening Event

Join us Dec 4 for a special evening event. The Illinois Association for Multilingual Multicultural Education (IAMME) will host a reception from 5 to 6pm.  Come and congratulate our state's first Latina Superintendent, Carmen I. Ayala.  Hors d'oeuvres and complimentary soft drinks provided. The reception will be followed by the film screening from 6 to 7pm and a post-film panel presentation from 7:15-8pm.  The film is No Small Matter, a documentary and national engagement campaign about the importance of quality early care and education.
Advance registration for this event has ended, but on-site registration will be available at the door.

On Dec 3 & 5, 2019 from 3:15-5:15pm, IRC will host a free event for job seekers to speak with district representatives at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort and Conference Center in Oak Brook.  More information...

About the Conference

The IRC’s annual conference offers over 200 sessions on topics in education such as identifying and meeting the needs of every student, the role of culture, the impact of technology, instructional strategies, assessment techniques, and ways of involving students and their families in learning.  Network and learn along with over 3000 other educators in this convivial setting in Oak Brook.

This conference is sponsored by the Illinois Resource Center and the Illinois Association for Multilingual Multicultural Education, in cooperation with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
