Join us this December for an extraordinary annual conference for educators who serve the needs of students from diverse language and cultural backgrounds, including English Learners (ELs).

Call for Proposals

We invite you to submit a proposal to present a session at Multilingual Illinois 2019.  Proposals will be accepted via online form only. 
The deadline for submitting a proposal is September 23, 2019.   We anticipate notification of acceptance of sessions by the third week of October 2019.

About the Conference

The IRC’s annual conference offers over 200 sessions on topics in education such as identifying and meeting the needs of every student, the role of culture, the impact of technology, instructional strategies, assessment techniques, and ways of involving students and their families in learning.  Network and learn along with over 3000 other educators in this convivial setting in Oak Brook.

This conference is sponsored by the Illinois Resource Center and the Illinois Association for Multilingual Multicultural Education, in cooperation with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

Registration will be available late September.
