Summit for Bilingual Parents
The Annual Statewide Summit for Bilingual Parents provides a rich mix of information about issues of critical importance to parents from linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds. Top speakers are joined by experts and panels on such topics as pathways to academic success, enhanced parental participation in schools, immigration issues, U.S. citizenship, bilingual education programs, community college services, effective parenting techniques, health care alternatives, and much more.
The Twelfth Annual Statewide Summit for Bilingual Parents will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Hilton/Chicago Oak Brook Hills Resort and Conference Center, 3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook, Illinois.
Registration is now open
The cost to attend is $25 per person (includes breakfast and lunch) and districts can bring up to 8 participants.
IMPORTANT — Because of the change in registration fees this year, districts will no longer be reimbursed for registration, lodging, or travel. Also, please note there will be no onsite registration.
Registration forms must be received by Thursday, April 27, 2017. No on-site registration. FAXED REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Cancellations received after April 27 will be charged the full conference registration fee. Registration changes will NOT be accepted after April 27.
